Rates published up front

These are the standard rates. Anything unusual gets quoted before work starts, and you'll never get an invoice with a number you haven't already heard.

Good to know

What's included, and what isn't

Diagnosis before commitment

You get the likely cause and a cost ceiling before I start. If the repair stops making financial sense, I'll say so rather than run up hours.

Parts billed at cost

Drives, memory, power supplies, and access points are billed at what they cost, separate from labor. No markup buried in the rate.

Ranges reflect scope

Where a range is listed, the low end is a straightforward job and the high end is heavy data recovery, multiple failures, or after-hours work.

Travel within the area

On-site visits across Polk County and nearby towns are included in the rate. Longer runs get a travel line quoted up front.

Not sure which line you fall under?

Describe the problem and I'll tell you which rate applies and roughly how long it should take.
